One contractor, planned and reactive
Neos Engineering provides commercial plumbing acrossall of London: planned maintenance and reactive repairs. We hold CHAS and SafeContractor accreditation and £10 million of public liability insurance.
Call outs run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The office answers and gives you an arrival window for the building, and the call out is charged by the hour, with any return visit or further work quoted first. What counts as an emergency at a business:burst pipes, leaks that cannot be stopped, drains backing up, and a building with no heating or hot water.
What a commercial plumber does
A commercial plumber looks after the water, waste and heating pipework in business premises and residential blocks, through planned visits and repairs. With us, the plant room and the drains are on the same number too. The work covers:
- Reactive repairs: leaks, burst pipes, failed taps and valves, blocked sinks
- Water leak detection and repair
- Water pump installation and repair
- Kitchen and bathroom plumbing
- High end and new build properties
- Planned maintenance visits across one building or several
Water rules at business premises
In premises other than a house, altering or extending the water system has to be notified to the water company before the work begins, unless an approved contractor under the water fittings scheme does the work. The rule is regulation 5 of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, and the water company then has 10 working days to refuse consent or attach conditions; if it does not answer, consent is taken as given. When notice is needed.
HSE's legionella guidance says stored hot water should be held at 60°C or higher and reach at least 50°C at the outlets within one minute, with cold water kept under 20°C where possible.Hot and cold water temperatures, and what HSE says about scalding.

The record procurement can check
Rated 4.95 out of 5 on TrustATrader, and 9.95 out of 10 on Checkatrade from reviews left for CJ Plumbing & Heating, one of the two businesses that merged to form Neos. Every review is on a platform we cannot edit, and the links go straight to the originals.
Stars are drawn from each platform’s real score and never rounded up. The average is weighted by how many reviews each platform holds, and uses the lower of the two TrustATrader scores.
The record behind the work
A real job, and the review it earned
Pressure fixed on a top floor bathroom
Water pressure to the top floor bathroom of a house was too poor to use properly. Our engineers fitted in line pumps to the supply, then brought in an electrician, a carpenter and a painter so the customer did not have to find and book three more trades themselves. The work was finished without delay between visits.
