On a refit we take the plumbing from strip out to final fix: rerouting supplies and waste, first fixing while the walls are open, then fitting the sanitaryware, shower and taps after tiling. My shower pressure is poor. Can anything be done?
Usually. It might be a scaled shower head, a failing valve, or a job for a water pump, which we install. The engineer finds the cause first, and a fix that needs a return visit, such as fitting a pump, is quoted before it goes ahead.
Do you move radiators during kitchen and bathroom refits?
Yes. Radiator repair, replacement and relocation are part of the service. The pipework is rerun properly, with the system drained, refilled and vented.
